The 1st Responder Golf Tour is a season-long golf tour for first responders, created by first responders, with competitive divisions for all skill levels.

What We Do
The 1st Responder Golf Tour is a season-long competition much like the Fed-Ex Cup series in the PGA. Each month is a new event to play in and earn points toward our ‘Freedom Cup’. We also host an annual ‘Toys-forTots’ charity event to give back to the communities that we serve.

We aim to inspire members and supporters to prioritize physical and mental health through our competitive and enjoyable golf community, fostering lasting healthy relationships.
Freedom Cup

The Freedom Cup is the championship trophy for the 1st Responder Golf Tour. The Freedom Cup series is comprised of 8 points earning events. Five of the tournaments will be ‘Flex Tour’ events while the remaining three events will be considered ‘Majors’.

We recognize as First Responders we must serve our communities 24/7 and may not be able to get a day off; or maybe we have a subpoena and have to be in court. No worries, that is why we created flex tour events for several of our tournaments.
The ‘Flex Tour’ events will be limited to 60-72 golfers with continuous tee times. Those who can’t make the event still have the ability to earn points toward the Freedom Cup by playing the same course, within the same month, with another 1RG Tour member. Points will still be awarded based your finishing position.

The three ‘Majors’ will be held in March, June, and September (Club Championship worth 3x points). These will be full field events with a shotgun start. You must be present at these double-point events (March & June) and triple-points event (Club Championship) in order to earn points toward the Freedom Cup. The top 30 players at the conclusion of the Club Championship in each chapter will be invited to compete in the State Championship.

Join California’s premier golf tour for 1st Responders. All below fields are mandatory to determine eligibility. Once your application has been submitted it will be reviewed for acceptance. Once accepted you will receive an e-mail from 1RG Tour for payment of league fees ($4.99/month) and be granted log-in information for the members only area of the website.
